Some Apple device models from certain production dates have factory problems. These models are repaired free of charge, even outside of warranty service.

How to apply?

  • Find your device in the list
    If your device is listed as damaged, it will be repaired free of charge.
  • Contact us
    We will additionally check whether the free repair is valid for your device based on the serial number.
  • Visit iSpace Service Center
    After confirmation, bring the device to the service center. We will conduct diagnostics to identify breakdowns.
  • Receive a repaired device
    Please be assured that your device has been repaired according to Apple Inc.'s guidelines.

MacBook Pro (15 inches).
Battery problem.
A limited number of older generation 15-inch MacBook Pros have been found to have a battery that can overheat and pose a fire safety hazard. Affected devices were sold from September 2015 to February 2017, and product eligibility is determined by serial number.

To prepare your MacBook Pro for service, back up your data.

Keyboard Maintenance Program
A small percentage of keyboards in certain MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models have been found to exhibit one or more of the following symptoms.

• Unexpected repetition of letters or symbols
• The absence of characters being typed on the screen
• "Sticky" or lack of proper response of the keys

The type of service will be determined after the keyboard has been inspected. In this case, it may be necessary to replace one or more keys or the entire keyboard.
Other Mac notebook models are not eligible for this program.

A small percentage of 13-inch MacBook Pro displays have been found to experience one or more of the following symptoms.

• The display backlight exhibits continuous or intermittent vertical bright areas along the entire bottom of the screen.
• The display backlight stops working completely.

The affected devices were sold between October 2016 and February 2018.
The program applies to eligible MacBook Pro models and is valid for 5 years from the original retail sale of the device, or 3 years from the date the current program began, whichever is longer.

Sound missing.
A very small percentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices have been found to experience audio issues due to a component failure in the receiver module. Devices with this issue were released between October 2020 and April 2021.

If the receiver on your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro does not make a sound on calls, it may need service.
Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers will provide free service to eligible devices.

iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are not participating in the program.

AirPods Pro.
Submit your application
A small percentage of AirPods Pro headphones have been found to have audio issues. Affected devices were manufactured prior to October 2020. These AirPods Pro headphones may exhibit some of the following symptoms.

• Clicking or crackling noises are heard that are intensified in noisy environments, while exercising or talking on the phone.
• The active noise canceling system does not work properly: low frequencies are cut out or background sounds are amplified, such as from the street or from an airplane in flight.

AirPods Pro (left, right, or both) with a confirmed issue will receive a replacement. The issue does not affect the AirPods Pro headphones case. It cannot be replaced.

The program covers affected AirPods Pro for 3 years from the date the device was originally sold.

Apple Watch Series 6.
Blank screen problem
A very small percentage of 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 devices have been found to experience a permanent blank screen. The affected products were released from April to September 2021.

The program applies to eligible Apple Watch Series 6 models and is valid for two years from the date the device was originally sold.

Adapters
Three-prong Apple plugs.
Apple 3-prong plug adapters, primarily intended for use in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong, have been found to break and present an electrical shock hazard if exposed metal parts are touched in very rare cases.

These power plug adapters shipped between 2003 and 2010 with Mac computers and several iOS devices, and were also included with the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.
Apple AC Wall Plug Adapters for variable current
On rare cases, two-pin adapters designed for use in Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina, and Brazil have been found to be damaged and present an electrical hazard if touched.

These wall adapters shipped between 2003 and 2015 with Macs and several iOS devices, and were also included with the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.
USB power adapter

According to recent reports, some counterfeit and third-party adapters have design flaws that can lead to security issues. Although not all third-party adapters experience these issues, we are announcing a USB power adapter take-back program so that customers can purchase quality adapters.
Apple USB 5W Europe Power Adapters have been found to overheat in rare circumstances and present a safety hazard. This adapter was bundled with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4s sold from October 2009 to September 2012. It was also sold as a separate accessory.
